USF’s patient care and research services are concentrated largely in USF Health, which includes the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, the School of Physical Therapy and a network of hospitals and outpatient centers throughout Tampa. USF physicians, nurses, physical therapists and public health experts provide a wide variety of health care, research and consultative services to the community.
USF’s presence has generated a network of highly specialized teaching hospitals, including the James Haley Veterans’ Hospital, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Shriners Hospital, All Children’s Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. Physician faculty members in the College of Medicine provide the highest quality health care in the region. With more than 400 doctors and 69 nurse practitioners, USF physicians provide an extensive range of specialty patient care.
