Arts & Performance

USF’s College of The Arts is a college of artistic disciplines and expressions that offers a wide variety of musical concerts, art exhibits and theatre and dance performances. The college consists of four schools – Art & Art History, Music, Theatre & Dance, Architecture & Community Design – and the Institute for Research in Art, which includes the Contemporary Art Museum and Graphicstudio. All are involved in creative research and each educates, challenges and inspires students for leadership in the arts.

An integral part of the campus culture, the College of The Arts offers nearly 320 performances, lectures, symposia and exhibitions annually, which are attended by over 50,000 people. Each school within the college offers students the opportunity to perform and/or create, developing their artistic talents while sharing their visions with audiences both within the local community and throughout the world.

College of The Arts events are open to the public. Reservations and information can be obtained through the College of The Arts Box Office at (813) 974-2323 or by visiting www.arts.usf.edu.

The Contemporary Art Museum is free and open to the public and houses local and national exhibits. Hours are Monday- Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays 1pm- 4pm. Guided tours of the Art Museum’s exhibitions and Graphicstudio’s facilities can be scheduled by calling 813-974-3503.
